Hi, I'm Rachel!  I am a married step-mother of two beautiful kiddos.  My husband and I serve as Youth Pastors at our local assembly.   Teens and young adults are my heartbeat.  I love connecting with them and helping them become the best versions of themselves.

For my day job, I work in accounting at a finance company.  I have studied my whole life to be in business, I didn't think I had a creative bone in my body.  My father is an amazing artist and I was incredibly jealous of his creativity. While in college, I took a photography class and was just absolutely enamored with the entire process.  I had finally found my creativity.   After that, I dove headfirst into studying photography.  My analytical brain loves all the technicalities of the camera settings, and my creative brain loves composition, light, telling stories and conveying emotion with a single image.

I am mostly a natural light photographer.  If you book me, I do not have a studio and we will hold your session outdoors.  I am passionate about capturing the emotion and love among families, couples, and children.  I also photograph seniors and celebrate their accomplishments with them.  Graduating high school is a big deal and they deserve recognition!
